Based in Abu Dhabi, Rebecca Gaskin Gain has helped guide operations at CBZ Holdings in Zimbabwe as an independent non-executive director since 2020. In her board position with the nation’s largest financial institution, she supports the board of directors as they develop effective business transformation strategies. Rebecca Gaskin Gain serves the company with a goal of strengthening CBZ’s position as Zimbabwe’s leading corporate finance and investment banking provider.
Before joining CBZ Holdings, Rebecca Gaskin Gain spent more than four years in Washington, D.C., as a principal with Nexant, Inc. In this role, she served as a transactions advisor to a U.S. Government initiative working to support infrastructure development throughout Africa. She has earned distinctions during her career, including a National Order of Civic Merit from the Democratic Republic of Congo for her efforts in the field of financial services.
Ms. Gaskin Gain graduated cum laude from the honors history program at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem. She subsequently earned her juris doctor from the Emory University School of Law in Atlanta. In addition to her degrees, she has completed an Arab language program at the Yemen College of Middle Eastern Studies and Foundations in Finance, a corporate finance program at the Amsterdam Institute of Finance.
